School Begins...

Wait, WHAT?! School? Yes, please attend school from tomorrow onward. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the news. Ok, I'm so not ready.

Back to this morning, I went to school today to register for Form 6. I still haven't find out my university admission results, so I'm just registering for this just in case. After handing in the papers for registration and paying a registration fee of RM15, there was a short speech given by the teacher about Form 6 (now known as Pre-U). By the way, I met 3 of my ex-classmates today who will be attending Pre-U too. Then, they gave us a timetable for the whole month of May and I found out I had to start school tomorrow *bangs head* Even worse, I have to attend school in full uniform /.\ Initially, I thought school would start in June and so, this was a total shock for me. I haven't prepared anything, including my brain.

Back to the story. After the speech, my dad brought me to buy 2 sets of uniform, a pair of shoes and a school bag which costed up to RM150+ in total. The price! XoX And when I went home, my mum said I should've went to another shop which sells the uniform at a cheaper price. Now I feel so bad T.T Anyway, I'm all set with my school stuff for tomorrow. Actually, lessons won't be starting until June but this whole month of school is to prep us for Pre-U.

The 1st week will be orientation and registration for the classes we want (Science/Arts class) and also, registration for co-curricular activities (clubs, sports etc.). I can't believe I have to go for co-curricular activities all over again, urgh! For the 2nd week, it's written in the timetable that teachers will be giving talks about the subjects in our respective classes while the last week is just some lame activities, which I think is just to fill up the free time before lessons start in June.

So now, it's back to the everyday school routine, waking up at 6am *faints* and coming home at 1pm. At least, I don't have to bury my head in books yet. Just not yet. I was actually planning to watch The Amazing Spider Man 2 with my mum this Wednesday but now, "Bye bye, Spider Man~" T.T

By the way, this is my new school bag :D Nice right?

I really need to get admitted to university so that I don't have to go through this tiring routine until next year. Please, Dear Lord, save me~ Ok, I have to sleep early tonight to survive tomorrow...THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. Bye!

Rice Burger

I went to Sushi King (AEON Mahkota Cheras branch) with my parents yesterday for a late lunch at about 3p.m. and I spotted this new menu which is available for a limited time only (1st May - 30th June). It's the rice burger. So, I decided to try out their new food item. It's just like a normal burger but they used rice instead of bread and I find this idea very interesting.

I ordered the Yakiniku (beef) RB.
It also comes in a set (RB+miso soup+pumpkin tempura) but I didn't order the set.

So nice it's RICE! The menu for the limited time RB.

My overall review: The wrapper they used was made of a plastic-polystrene kind of material which is not eco-friendly, so I hope they would use something else. Now, about the Yakiniku RB, it's actually like the Yakiniku Don (beef rice), just more attractive-looking and I think easier to eat (?) since it's a burger. The rice was a bit too soft for the one I ate but other than that, it's quite tasty. Another good thing about it, it's quite filling because it's rice. I ate about 5 or 6 sushi and this RB and I was full. (Of course, it might vary for different people.) It can be a bit costly but all in all, I'm satisfied with my RB. I greatly recommend it for light eaters ;)

PS: The above review is purely based on my taste. "One man's meat is another man's poison". I can't guarantee that you will like it too.

Making snacks

Since I'm so free, I decided to try making some snacks last night. I'm not sure what this is called but it's a common snack during CNY. It's quite simple to make, just take 'popiah' skin and wrap some chicken floss in it then fry it. Here are some pics. I admit it does not look very nice as it's my 1st time making it but it's edible :)

I used pork floss for this because I only have that at home.

Before frying...

Some of the better looking ones XD

The end product.

As you can see, there's only 1 plate which is so little but the wrapping took me about 3 hrs!! All my precious time /.\ By the time I finished, it was already late, so I went straight to bed. That's why I'm only posting this today. I guess that's all~

I'm back!

Hi! I decided to come back to blogging after more than 4 months. Currently I don't have much news as I've been enjoying my break after high school till now. Yes, living life to the fullest xD Anyway, I started giving tuition to a 7-yr-old girl since January. Other than that, I'm just spending my time watching TV, playing games, sleeping and lazing around. Hmm, not very useful, I guess. Well, I think I improved my cooking a little :)

Oh ya, my plans after this! Ok I don't just spend all of my time slacking off. I did decide what to study in the future (which is soon) and IT'S....*drum roll*....FOOD SCIENCE!! It's not a professional course but after my research, I think I'll like it. Right now, I applied for foundation in science to 2 local universities but I'm still waiting for the results which will be out next month. I really really hope I get a spot in university *cross fingers* cause if I don't, I'll have to go to Form 6 and that means back to school /.\ My parents are not so well off to send me to private universities so, yeah.

That's all about my life currently and I'll be back with news of my uni entrance results. Stay tuned! ;)

Sick! /.\

Hi! My last post was in March...hmm, that was a long time ago. Now my exams are over and I'm leaving school for good, I mean I've graduated. I managed to stay healthy throughout my exams and now I'm sick :/

It all started with me eating biscuits and sleeping late. So, now I'm having a sore throat and I caught a flu since yesterday but I've just started taking antibiotics so I guess I should be well in a few more days. Haih~ all the food I could've eaten :( my dad even brought back lots of chocolate but I can't eat them yet. Well, I still can do lots of stuff though - watch TV, play games, read etc :) Hope I get well real quick and I can go swimming and go out with my friends ^^

Braces off!

It's my last month wearing braces :D I'm gonna miss having it on with the colourful power chains though. It made my teeth looked nice even though it was pain in the beginning... Well, anyway, now I can smile proudly with beautiful teeth :) but there's the retainer to wear, I'm not sure how long I have to put that on. That's all, goodnight! Nu'night! λΏ…~

tNCC Camp 2012

I went for a church youth camp from 8/12 to 10/12, it was thanks to my cousin I was able to be there and I ENJOYED it :D

On the 7th, my mum brought me to my cousin's place in the afternoon. I think we slept at 1 something that night after playing some computer games together.
The next morning, we were supposed to leave at 7.30am but my cousin overslept and so ended up leaving at about 8am but thank God we arrived in time.

My cousin & I got different buses and so I was on my own on the way up to Genting. The place was higher up than I thought it would be :O when I saw the cable car, I remembered riding with my friends >.< I listened to my mp3 all the way up.

My bus arrived first and I was kinda lost while we were waiting for the other bus as I didn't know anyone. After everyone arrived, they gave a briefing and we drew names from a bag to know our wards. I got a 14-year-old boy's name.

After lunch, we played games and were divided into groups. By then, I had made some friends but no one I knew was in the same team as me. I was in the yellow team. Soon after that, I was able to mix with my team members and I helped in the games and stuff.

I admit I was a little lost on the first day because everyone was busy having group discussions for the sketch the next night and my group finished planning so I was wandering around alone feeling bored.

The next day, we had devotion and also worshipped. We also played lots of games and did activities. I got closer to everyone around me, especially my team members. It was fun. That night was the sketch competition and I guess I did well in my part and my team won too. After that, we had worship and sang. Then, we all sat with our groups and shared our thoughts about each other and it felt nice :)

They announced the overall winner: yellow :) and we won junk food. That night/morning I slept at almost 5am after playing cards in the lobby and chatting with friends in the dorm. By the way, I met a friend from school that night too though she came with another church.

On the last day, we revealed the GAs before lunch. I played cards again while waiting for the bus back. I half slept in the bus on the way back. I took another church member's car home and I fainted after unpacking.

Xtra:
-there were lots of insects there :O
-it was cold XD
-I made lots of friends
-I cut out a LOT of stuff as too many great things happened
